Mindfulness inspires us to practice gratitude-to place our focus on all we have rather than what we do not have; and to focus on what is going well in our life, rather than what is not going well. Awareness, Connection, Responsibility & Service

When we grow in awareness of our sacredness and our divine connection to each other, we realize we have a responsibility to each do our part to contribute to the healing and peace of our world. Each of us has a responsibility to bring as much peace into the world as we can each day. Each time we turn into our breath and meditate, we are replenished with the divine energy that lives within us. Each time we sit in meditation, we grow in awareness. Trust the wisdom of your breath, it will comfort, guide and protect you. Remember, in each breath lives supreme peace. Whether you feel anxious or settled when you sit in meditation, each moment in meditation is a good moment! It will serve you throughout your day and help you to live as peacefully as you can. Heart Intentions for a New Year

Happy New Year to each of you and your family! May the new year be filled with abundant good health, peace, ease and joy for All. In yoga philosophy, the term "sankalpa" means to set intentions from one's heart and a solemn vow to manifest the heart intention. But the difference between traditional new year's resolutions and sankalpas is that when we create a sankalpa, we start from a place of remembering our divine wholeness, worthiness and goodness.
