Reciprocity of Kindness and Gratitude

There is a reciprocity of energy between kindness and gratitude. Words and acts of kindness open us to gratitude and when we feel grateful, it can inspire us to speak and act with kindness. Pause, Breathe, Open and Relax “PBOR” is a simple and profound practice each of us can do on a daily basis, moment by moment when we need to come back to our innate peace and contentment. Truly, this is what our yoga, breath & meditation practices invite us to do. It is especially valuable to navigate challenges but also during ease & enjoyable times to be as fully present and engaged with what is occurring as much as we can. Awareness, Connection, Responsibility & Service

When we grow in awareness of our sacredness and our divine connection to each other, we realize we have a responsibility to each do our part to contribute to the healing and peace of our world. Each of us has a responsibility to bring as much peace into the world as we can each day. Each time we turn into our breath and meditate, we are replenished with the divine energy that lives within us. Each time we sit in meditation, we grow in awareness. Trust the wisdom of your breath, it will comfort, guide and protect you. Remember, in each breath lives supreme peace. Whether you feel anxious or settled when you sit in meditation, each moment in meditation is a good moment! It will serve you throughout your day and help you to live as peacefully as you can. Heart Intentions for a New Year

In yoga philosophy, the term "sankalpa" means to set intentions from one's heart and a solemn vow to manifest the heart intention. But the difference between traditional new year's resolutions and sankalpas is that when we create a sankalpa, we start from a place of remembering our divine wholeness, worthiness and goodness.
